Aberfan: The Fight for Justice - Huw Edwards on the tribunal

The Aberfan disaster, which happened 50 years ago on Friday, shocked the world.

Immediately, people were demanding to know how and why it had happened - a terrible accident or a preventable man-made tragedy?

Within weeks, a 76-day long tribunal of inquiry - at the time the longest-running inquiry of its kind in British history - began hearing evidence.

In a documentary entitled Aberfan: The Fight for Justice, Huw Edwards looks back at the testimony given.
