Post-war office blocks given listed status by English Heritage
Fourteen office blocks, including one nicknamed the hanging gardens of Basingstoke, have been given protected Grade II* listed status.
English Heritage said the decision recognised the work of leading modern architects who responded to "radical changes" in how people in offices work.
Hundreds of office blocks from the 1960s and 1970s have been torn down in recent years.
