"This is a fantastic opportunity to reward students who make a wonderful contribution to the Students' Union over the course of the year. Once again, the University of Leicester Students' Union was able to showcase a diverse student population, who contribute to some of the best student groups in the country." Jag Gill, Senior Marketing Manager of graddtobusiness said: "It was an absolute pleasure to support the University of Leicester Student Group Awards this year. "Before attending the event, we didn't really know how many different student groups existed within the university or the level of work that went into activities run by these groups. "We were however, very impressed by the commitment and dedication of the nominees and by what they had achieved this year. The awards evening was a great, well organised event that we were proud to be a part of". One for the teamPeople who work most effectively never say "I." They don't even think "I." They think "we"; they think "team." The University of Leicester Students' Union is run by a team of five sabbatical officers with support from many full and part time staff. The success of this year's award has been hinged on teamwork. |
