Complete and return a Learning Skills Council Application Form for Work Based Learning.
Contact your local college and ask if they have a Care Training Coordinator (or someone who deals with the Care Apprenticeship Programmes). They may be able to arrange a visit to an employer and you can discuss the Apprenticeship in more detail.
If you're unemployed, visit your local Connexions Centre and Jobcentre Plus to see if there are any vacancies in Care. Also have a look in the local papers.
If you're already employed, you need to discuss the possibility of undertaking an Apprenticeship with your employer.
