Tomás Mac Anna (1926-2011). Tomás was a theatre director, actor and writer.
He spent over 50 years with The Abbey Theatre in Dublin, his main roles being artistic director and also director of Irish plays for the theatre. He was often a guest on Irish language programmes on BBC Radio Ulster and here is a special programme, Tearmann, in which he’s interviewed by Antaine Ó Donnaile about his life and his sanctuary.
