Working with producers

We invested £1.5 billion in original TV content and £400 million in original Radio content, working with 310 independent production companies in TV and 269 in Radio, reinforcing our role as the single largest investor in the UK creative sector. Across TV and Radio we invested £196m of our commissioning budget in content that met our creative diversity criteria, and through the Diversity Development Fund we supported more than 80 companies across the UK and over 100 individuals in mid to senior-level roles.
