Did Bruce Wayne ever have it this bad?
A mysterious caped figure has been helping the people of London. Not dealing with the criminal hi-jinks of The Joker or Catwoman (thankfully), instead doing good deeds for others: paying for fuel at petrol stations, helping people across busy roads and even filling in potholes.

How popular is London's Batman?
These may not be the type of do-gooder acts that sell comic books, but London's Batman, as they are known, has already got 297k followers on TikTok and their posts have had more 2m likes since they first appeared at the end of September.
Despite the capital’s hero doing their best to make people’s days a little brighter, one question keeps hounding them: who are they? Can they be like Bruce and keep their identity secret, or will they soon be unmasked?
Socials are awash with the theory that London's Batman is none other than Niko Omilana, known for posting prank videos on socials and as a contestant on the first series of The Celebrity Traitors.

Why do people think Niko Omilana is London's Batman?
Niko appears to be the most popular candidate for London Batman’s secret identity as he has a reputation for pranks which take a lot of organisation and can involve handing out goods to people.
In 2021, he opened a fake store in the city and gave away free smartphones to the public as his comment on what he saw as the high price of technology.
Niko posted a short video of himself on TikTok showing he was in the heart of New York, a move some people interpreted as him trying to prove he is not London’s Batman.
That hasn’t stopped others trying to prove otherwise. Comments on the post suggest it could have been pre-recorded as the theatre advertisements behind him don’t reflect the ones playing in the city at the moment, although this hasn’t been verified.
TikTok user officialroyce1 posted that Niko’s video was meaningless as he could have flown to New York and back in the same day to cover his tracks.

What evidence is there that Niko Omilana is London’s Batman?
At the moment, there are lots of theories but absolutely no evidence that Niko is dressing up as a superhero and helping out in the community.
A similar situation happened earlier this year when some posters on socials were convinced that the Liverpool rapper EsDeeKid was really the actor Timothee Chalamet in disguise. This was later disproved after the theory went viral.
When you see stories like this online it's always important to check your facts before repeating or reposting the information, to prevent false information from spreading.
Until London’s Batman pulls back their mask to reveal their secret identity, we can’t say for sure. But we can use the same kind of critical thinking which has saved Gotham City countless times. And how many of us wouldn’t want to be more like Batman?
