| | Voice artist and Doctor Who superfan Nicholas Briggs enjoyed a dream come true last year when he was given the job of providing the voices of the dreaded Daleks in the first series of Doctor Who. | | A Cyberman, yesterday |
This year however he has not only returned to voice the Daleks but also second string Doctor Who big bads - The Cybermen. The two fearsome foes of the errant Time Lord face off against each other in the sure-to-be epic second series finale - the ominously-titled 'Doomsday' - which airs on BBC1 at 7.00pm on Saturday 8th July. On the eve of this much-anticipated clash of two titans of the galaxy, Nick found time to talk to BBC Radio Wiltshire's Mark Seaman about what fans can expect. He also demonstrated - with the help of his Ring Modulator device - how he comes up with the unique-sounding voices and tantalisingly revealed which other classic Doctor Who villains voices he'd like to update for the next series. | | | last updated: 10/07/06 | | Have Your Say | | single image toys A man who brings the Metal meanies to life with a clearing of the throat! well done sir!
