Attendance: The Bay City Rollers splash-landed on the pop scene in 1971 with their first hit, 'Keep On Dancing', but it wasn't until 1974 that the strapping Rollers really got rolling. With a string of hits including 'Bye Bye Baby', 'Give a Little Love' and 'Money Honey'. Up until 1979 these lads were as difficult to dislodge as a pair of pants during a yoga session. B+

Physical Education: Considering it was the decade where the likes of Sid James were considered fine physical specimens, the Rollers didn't look too shabby. The lads had that beefy Scots look a la the Quaker Oats box, and had bulges in all the right places. A-

Behaviour: Where to start? The boys may have been the apple of many girls' eyes in the early days but they certainly did their best to tarnish the
image. The lads fell out of favour with the ladies after admitting that they took Valium to cope with their manic schedule (though their popularity among depressed housewives must have gone through the roof). As if that wasn't enough, in 1998 drummer Derek Longmuir pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography, claiming it had been left at his home by an American friend. F

Bonding: Despite being the subject of global affection from the golden years of 1967 to 1978, the Bay City line-up suffered more changes than a British Rail timetable. D
