“They've got Dappy feet”

Names: Dino 'Dappy' Contostavlos, Tula 'Tulisa' Contostavlos, Richard 'Fazer' Rawson

From: Camden Town, London, UK

Biggest Hit (so far): 'You Better Not Waste My Time' (No.26)

Best Quote: “the N in N-Dubz is for North-West because we are from that region of London and Dubz can mean anything you want it to mean. We chose to be called N-Dubz and Not NW-Dubz because we wanted to cover the whole of North London.” – Tulisa.
Which means the band is called, what, North ( )? Genius!

Unique Selling Point: They’re young, they’re snotty, and they sometimes hit each other in interviews. They’re also massively charismatic, massively talented and definitely one of those bands who are Going Somewhere. They are also karate champions, although these two facts are in no way related.

Most interesting fact: Before his death in 2007, the band were managed by Dappy’s dad, Byron Contostavlos. Byron already had some experience in the music business, as he used to play keyboards for ‘70s folk-pop band Mungo Jerry.

Least interesting fact: Dappy and Tulisa were first spotted on Channel 4’s Dubplate Drama, an interactive TV show where the plot was decided by the viewers.
