“TV's Mr Dancing Feet (Junior Division)”

Name: George Sampson (do keep up!)

From: Warrington, UK

Biggest Hit (so far): 'Singin’ In The Rain' by Mint Royale ft. Gene Kelly (No.1).
It’s not strictly-speaking HIS biggest hit, but the song only re-entered the charts after George won Britain’s Got Talent by dancing to it.

Best Quote: “Nothing compares to the Royal Variety show. The only royalty I've ever danced in front of is my mum.”

Unique Selling Point: Well, he’s a pretty good dancer, is it worth mentioning that? So good, in fact, that he won a TV talent show which, until now, has tended to be associated by people who sing. This would be remarkable enough, but he also has a medical condition called Scheuermann's disease, which affects the development of his bones. Plus he’s very, very young, and very, very kind to his mum.

Most interesting fact: In order to pay for his train fare to the auditions for Britain’s Got Talent, George busked on the streets of Manchester.

Least interesting fact: The first thing George did after winning Britain’s Got Talent was go back to school to prepare for a mock GCSE exam.
