Saturday 7th and 14th August saw the BBC Learning Centre transformed into Mission Control, Houston Texas, when we held a fantastic family learning session about Astronauts and Space!

There were lots of items to handle and look at all of which have been into space, such as space ready-meals, toilet bags [unused!] items from a genuine Russian Cosmonaut suit, used aboard the MIR Space Station and even a window from the Cold War era Salyut space station.
