Life on the streets is hard. The cold, what you're going to eat and where you're going to sleep are just three of the things you've got to think about during your day.
Jonathan Toft is in his early thirties. He used to work with his dad as a builder but when he was knocked down by a car he suffered head injuries which he says has made it difficult for him to carry on working.
Evicted He's been homeless since the autumn after he was evicted by his landlord. He says a long-running dispute with social services means he doesn't get any benefits and he's spent much of the past few months sleeping in a multi-storey car park in Stoke-on-Trent.
He's borrowed a camera from us at BBC Radio Stoke to give you an idea of what a day in his life on the streets is like...
