Rossi expects backlash from Honda
Valentino Rossi
Newly-crowned world champion Valentino Rossi is already looking forward to a bigger challenge next season.

Rossi, who clinched his fourth straight world MotoGP title on Sunday, expects former team Honda to provide an even sterner challenge than this year.

"Next year will be harder because the Honda factory bikes will have continued their developments," said Rossi.

"They will come back very strong but I think we will also be faster because we will have all the data from this year."

Rossi clinched the world championship in his first year at Yamaha after switching from Honda.

The Italian won the Australian MotGP on Sunday in thrilling style, overtaking fierce rival Gibernau on the last lap and crossing the line just 0.097 seconds ahead.
