Kelly hangs up gloves
Blackburn goalkeeper Alan Kelly
Blackburn goalkeeper Alan Kelly has been forced to retire from football, reports BBC Radio Lancashire.

The 35-year-old suffered a finger injury at the start of the season and, following medical advice, he has decided to call time on his career.

Kelly played 34 times for the Republic of Ireland, following in the footsteps of his father.

He made over 470 appearances for his five clubs, which have also included Preston and Sheffield United.
