  1. 'Easier' for Paolini to attackpublished at 15:43 BST

    *Paolini 6-4 4-6 2-2 Eala

    Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC One

It's easier for Paolini to get into offence because of her serve. She has more pace and better location. She can get more points off the serve whereas Eala has to really work for them.

Britain's Neal Skupski and American Christian Harrison won the men's doubles at the Australian Open earlier this year, but they won't be repeating that at Wimbledon as the fifth seeds have just lost in the third round.

The pairing of Australia's Thanasi Kokkinakis and American Aleksandar Kovacevic advance after winning two tie-breaks, 7-4 at the end of the first set and 7-5 at the end of the second.

Those fans on court three may as well stay where they are as the all-British duo of Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool, the reigning Wimbledon champions, are next up as they face Petr Nouza of the Czech Republic and Neil Oberleitner of Austria.

Skupski will be back on the same court later on, teaming up with American Desirae Krawczyk in the quarter-finals of the mixed doubles, when they will take on Croatia's Mate Pavic and Hungary's Fanny Stollar.

  3. Cobolli breakspublished at 15:41 BST

    De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 3-5 Cobolli*

Flavio Cobolli only needs one of the break points as he crashes a forehand winner past a despairing Alex de Minaur.

The Italian is about to serve for the match.

  4. Paolini holdspublished at 15:40 BST

    Paolini 6-4 4-6 3-2 Eala*

Big serve out wide from Jasmine Paolini to force a miss from Alexandra Eala, who had gone up 0-30.

From there the Italian 13th seed powers on to hold again.

This deciding set is still on a knife-edge.

  5. Break point Cobollipublished at 15:40 BST

    *De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 3-4 Cobolli

Flavio Cobolli returns well to win a point before Alex de Minaur double faults.

It feels like a key moment in the match and De Minaur takes his time before his next serve.

He wins the next point but then double faults again to offer two break points.

    *Paolini 6-4 4-6 2-2 Eala

    Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC One

Paolini is going out to the forehand much better now. She's being much more aggressive and taking on the shots.

This is good quality tennis in this third set.

  7. Eala holdspublished at 15:38 BST

    *Paolini 6-4 4-6 2-2 Eala

A high-quality game from both players but Alexandra Eala keeps it on serve.

Jasmine Paolini hits a couple of really nice forehands, including a winner to go up 15-30, before Eala responds with a delicate drop shot.

The left-hander then gets the ball to dip at the feet of the advancing Paolini and goes on to hold.

  8. Cobolli holdspublished at 15:37 BST

    *De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 3-4 Cobolli

After a flurry of games featuring breaks of serve, Flavio Cobolli gets back on track with a much needed confident hold.

  9. Cobolli breaks back againpublished at 15:35 BST

    De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 3-3 Cobolli*

Alex de Minaur is struggling with his first serve a bit and Flavio Cobolli is taking advantage.

The Australian goes into the net to offer two break points, but escapes as Cobolli can't get his returns in play.

Cobolli brings up another break point at deuce and makes this one count as De Minaur fires a forehand long.

  10. Paolini holds to lovepublished at 15:32 BST

    Paolini 6-4 4-6 2-1 Eala*

Two love holds to start the third set for Jasmine Paolini.

This one is done in the blink of an eye. The Italian will be delighted with that, the more energy conserved to try to break the Alexandra Eala serve, the better.

  11. Eala holdspublished at 15:30 BST

    *Paolini 6-4 4-6 1-1 Eala

That lack of pace and power behind her serve means there are very few easy points for Alexandra Eala.

She has enough about her to ensure it's not hindering her too much, though, even after Jasmine Paolini gets after the serve to come back from 30-0 to 30-30.

Nice crisp groundstrokes and then a delicate touch at the net from Eala to get the hold.

    *De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 3-2 Cobolli

    Todd Woodbridge
Former Wimbledon doubles champion on BBC Two

De Minaur is stuck in a rock and a hard place with his serve. He's still 52%, he knows he needs to take a bit off it but Cobolli is just ripping it straight back to him.

    *De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 3-2 Cobolli

    Mark Woodforde
17-time Grand Slam doubles champion on BBC Radio 5 Live

Right now, De Minaur can look to test the physicality of Cobolli.

  14. De Minaur breakspublished at 15:26 BST

    *De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 3-2 Cobolli

Alex de Minaur responds to being broken by bringing up a chance to immediately break back with a laser forehand winner across court.

The Australian takes it as following a long exchange of slices, it's Cobolli who makes the mistake as his shot drifts wide.

  15. Paolini holds to lovepublished at 15:25 BST

Just the start to the third set that Jasmine Paolini would have wanted.

Disappointment of the second behind her, she is playing with good intent, hitting the ball cleanly and holds to love.

  16. Cobolli breaks backpublished at 15:23 BST

    De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 2-2 Cobolli*

Break point for Flavio Cobolli as he sprints to somehow dig a fine winner out across court.

Alex de Minaur, perhaps feeling the pressure, goes long on the next point and Cobolli breaks back.

When Cobolli has upped his game in this match, De Minaur often hasn't been able to match him.

  17. Postpublished at 15:23 BST

    *Paolini 6-4 4-6 0-0 Eala

    Marion Bartoli
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Eala just points to the air, number one. She's saying that she's going to come out on top in this match.

  18. Postpublished at 15:22 BST

    *Paolini 6-4 4-6 0-0 Eala

    Emily Salley
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

A shake of the fist from Alexandra Eala and a huge cheer from the crowd as she takes us to a deciding set on Centre Court.

Jasmine Paolini has been growing more and more frustrated so it's a bit of a surprise she hasn't headed off court to regain some composure and reset herself.

    We're going to a decider!

Alexandra Eala takes the second set as Jasmine Paolini's return flies long.

A really enjoyable match and luckily enough for the neutrals, we've got another set to come.

  20. Deucepublished at 15:21 BST

    *De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 2-1 Cobolli

Alex de Minaur keeps popping up with the odd unforced error and another one gives Flavio Cobolli a way into this game.

He takes the invitation with a lovely backhand winner down the line to send the game to deuce.
