Wakefield sign St George forward Guler from 2027

Wakefield Trinity have signed forward Emre Guler from NRL side St George Illawarra Dragons on a three-year deal from next season.

The 28-year-old Turkey international has made over 100 NRL appearances and made his debut for Canberra Raiders.

He has so far appeared in every game for St George this season, the club which he joined ahead of the 2025 campaign.

"Being only 28, I have gained valuable experience over the years with strong clubs playing NRL for the Canberra Raiders and St George Illawarra Dragons and saw it as the perfect time to sign a three-year deal with Wakefield," he said., external
