Warrington Wolves centre Zack Gardner will miss the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder.
Gardner suffered the injury in the opening minutes of Warrington's 18-6 win at St Helens last Thursday and he now needs surgery.
That was the 20-year-old's first game of the campaign having battled back from injury, but he will not feature in the run-in.
The Wire are second in Super League with 11 wins from their 13 games and host leaders Leeds Rhinos on Thursday (20:00 BST).
