St Helens have signed Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs half-back Sean O'Sullivan for the 2027 season.
The National Rugby League side have released the 28-year-old from the final year of his contract to allow him to make the move to Super League.
O'Sullivan has also had spells with hometown club Sydney Roosters, Brisbane Broncos, New Zealand Warriors, Penrith Panthers and Dolphins.
He is the second player to sign for Saints, who missed out on a place in the Super League play-offs for the first time this season, since fellow Australian Kevin Walters was announced as their new head coach last month.
"I've bumped into Kevvie over in Australia, and once he was announced as the coach, it showed the ambitions of the club," O'Sullivan told the club website., external
"All my talks with him have been super positive, and I know that he and I are going to get on really well, which is a big part of me wanting to come to St Helens, because I think he can help my footy a lot."
