Armitage injury ends Bradford career

Guy Armitage has played his last game for Bradford Bulls after being rules out for the rest of the season with a hamstring tear.

The 34-year-old back was a key member of the Bulls side that was promoted last season, scoring 16 tries, and had scored in his past two appearances in Super League.

Armitage will require surgery on the injury, sustained during last week's defeat by Hull Kingston Rovers.

He will leave the club having scored a total of 19 tries in 37 games for the Bulls, after it was confirmed in June he would not be offered a new contract.
