Nottingham Forest Netball have stretched their lead over fifth place LexisNexis Dragons and are edging ever closer to securing their spot in the play-offs. However, this Friday they travel to league leaders Loughborough Lightning, who have lost just one match this season to London Pulse 75-71 in round 10 with Pulse's Liv Tchine dominating the scoring.

Forest lost by a single point to Lightning last month in a thrilling 74-75 defeat. Forest's win against London Mavericks last weekend could prove to be the pivotal match for Chelsea Pitman's side. It was a cagey error-strewn encounter, the fourth-place hosts taking the lead into half-time 28-21. Mavericks were reinvigorated in the third quarter and drew level in the fourth, but it was the steady shooting of Rolene Streutker that secured the win for Forest.

Streutker is currently level with Loughborough Lightning's Samantha Wallace-Joseph on 339 goals this season, making the pair the highest scorers in the league so far.
