Osian Pryce has won the British Rally Championship (BRC) for a second time, after victory in the season-ending Cambrian Rally.

Pryce started the final round in the north Wales forests in third place, with pre-rally leader Max McRae and fellow Welshman Meirion Evans also hoping to claim the 2026 title.

Evans fell by the wayside early on Saturday, sliding off the road on stage five while running second.

In difficult weather conditions McRae also lost time after taking an early lead, before pushing Pryce all the way for victory.

The 21-year-old Scot - nephew of former world champion Colin McRae, and son of Alister who won the BRC title in 1995 - won the final two stages but could not quite close the gap on the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 driver who took the rally by 1.2 seconds.

"I never thought I'd be in the position to win this title again," said Pryce.

"We've had our ups and downs since the last one, but I've kept persevering, and it just goes to show that everyone who has helped me, as long as I get the support, I can put it together on the day.

The Melvyn Evans Motorsport driver is the second Welshman to win a title on the final day of the season in 2026, after Elfyn Evans - who won the British Rally Championship in 2016 - finally ended years of near-misses to become Wales' first World Rally Champion earlier in October.
