    It is poor defending from Liverpool as Brenden Aaronson's low ball into the box looks set to be cleared by Curtis Jones but he seems unaware Sean Longstaff is coming in to finish and the Leeds substitute sweeps home.

    An Ethan Ampadu throw in is flicked on and no-one picks up Dominic Calvert-Lewin at the back post and he taps in.

    Another neat move by Leeds as Harry Wilson plays the ball into the box and Dominic Calvert-Lewin races in for the shot but Kieran Morrison covers well to get there first and knock the ball behind for a corner.

    Fair to say that without Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak, Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni, Liverpool don't look anywhere near as impressive as they were in the first half. They're struggling to keep the ball as well as they did in the opening 45.

    The delivery in by Harry Wilson is dangerous, but Liverpool eventually scramble clear.

    Leeds get the goal their start to this second half has deserved!

    A mistake by Milos Kerkez and Ethan Ampadu charges towards the box. He plays a neat ball across the box to Brenden Aaronson, who drives home.

    A big cheer from the Leeds and American fans in attendance for that strike.

    Better from Leeds at the start of this half as Harry Wilson sends a free-kick into the box, Dominic Calvert-Lewin attacks it but heads wide. Probably should have got it on target at least.

    Initially it is great play by Dominic Calvert-Lewin as he flicks a ball to him beyond a Liverpool player. He charges into the box but plays a ball that isn't really a cross or a shot and the opportunity passes.

    Leeds's failure to strengthen the squad with quality will inevitably lead to a season of real struggles. The 49ers talk the talk, but they don’t walk the walk. Too many are nowhere near Premier League quality and to have spent not one penny on a striker since promotion is criminal!

    Ethan Ampadu sends a long throw into the box and Giorgi Mamardashvili punches it behind for a corner.
