Woodman wants signings to aid play-off push

Bromley manager Andy Woodman is targeting a play-off spot this season, despite only gaining promotion to League One in May.

The Ravens were crowned League Two champions last season and have made 12 signings already to improve the squad.

Woodman says work is ongoing to add for further signings as he targets back-to-back promotions.

"I'll be sitting down with the whole football club this week, mapping out what I believe we can do," he told BBC Radio London.

"I believe we can make the play-offs, and if we can get the two [signings] in we are hoping for, I will be banging that drum."

Milwall defender Kamarl Grant is the latest arrival, having re-joined for a third loan spell having played 58 games for the Ravens during the past two campaigns.

"We've brought Kamarl in today, he is someone we know. He's done brilliantly for us," Woodman said.

Woodman insists he wants Bromley to keep pushing for reinforcements this summer to match his ambitions and warned injuries could impact the team's progress.

"We're certainly trying to get two or three through the door," he added.

"One [could be in the] early part of this week. I'll keep pushing the club to make sure they've got enough in the building to get us through to the next window.

"If you lose a couple of players to injury, your squad looks very different. Results can be different and the whole momentum is different.

"No manager has ever got enough."
