Coventry City have confirmed the signing of Toulouse winger Yann Gboho - the cousin of Paris St-Germain and France forward Desire Doue.

A deal for 25-year-old Gboho was agreed and submitted to the Premier League prior to Tuesday's transfer deadline.

However, it required ratification from Fifa, which has since been provided. The move is now subject to UK visa approval.

Gboho, who was born in the Ivory Coast but represented France at youth level, made 83 appearances for Toulouse in all competitions, scoring 19 goals.

He started his career at Rennes and had a loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem before moving on to Cercle Brugge.

Newly promoted Coventry have spent more than £100m this summer, with Gboho becoming their 12th summer signing.

Frank Lampard's side travel to Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday (15:00 BST) having lost their opening two fixtures of the season.
