Notts County have brought in attacking midfielder Ollie Cooper from Championship side Swansea City on a season-long loan.

The 26-year-old came through the academy at Swansea, where he has scored nine goals in 118 appearances, and spent the first half of last season on loan at Wigan.

Cooper is known to Magpies' director of football Richard Montague and head coach Martin Paterson following their time with the Swans.

"Ollie is a technically-gifted player who is both tidy in possession and very aggressive without the ball," Montague told the club website.

"He has more than 100 appearances in the Championship, plus senior international caps, to his name and is a fantastic character who I'm sure will bring a lot to the squad."
