Wild eager to build on maiden Hartlepool win
Wild: 'So pleased' after Forest Green victory

New Hartlepool United head coach Pete Wild is eager to build on the confidence generated by his first win in charge.
The 4-2 success at Forest Green Rovers helped Pools climb out of the National League relegation zone and ended a bad run of six straight league losses.
After mustering only eight goals over their first dozen games, they managed to grab half that many in their trip to Gloucestershire.
"It isn't going to be plain sailing and there will be bumps along the road," Wild told BBC Radio Tees.
"But we've won a game! Scoring four goals gives the confidence, and belief in what the coaches are telling them and they'll do it again because they've won, as well as knowing they can dig deep to get over the line collectively."
Hartlepool stormed into a three-goal lead at New Lawn, saw their advantage cut to one deep into the second half before a second Nathan Sheron goal, struck from around 30 yards, secured the three points.
Wild says it was a simple message that delivered a more front-footed effort from his team.
"Play forward more, shoot more, get more men in the box, go and score goals," he added. "If you don't shoot, you aren't going to score goals, so that's really pleasing."
