Sky Blues agree deal to sign Yirenkyi

Coventry City have agreed a deal to sign Caleb Yirenkyi from Danish Superliga side Nordsjaellland for a fee worth 27m euros (£23.1m) plus 3m euros (£2.5m) in add-ons.
The 20-year-old midfielder featured for Ghana at the 2026 World Cup, and has played for the Danish side since 2024.
Although Yirenkyi is primarily a midfielder, he is known for his versatility, having played at right-back for his national team.
Last season, Yirenkyi played 43 games for club and country and scored four goals throughout the 2025-26 campaign.
