Woodman welcomes chance to hone Bromley squad

Bromley manager Andy Woodman says he will use the the international break to get his squad fine-tuned for the rest of the League One campaign.

The Ravens began life in the third tier well, winning at Barnsley and drawing with Cambridge, but then picked up just one point from their next four games.

However, Woodman's team beat Huddersfield 2-1 on Saturday - and he is now looking forward to more work on the training ground.

"I've never had a doubt about this group of players," he told BBC Radio London.

"We got a lot of them late, hence why some of them are getting injured, so I really need to get some time with them, get some quality work into them and make sure they galvanise as a group.

"We've had some long days out on the training pitch this week and last week, and they've not moaned. They're a brilliant bunch of lads.

"It's [about] everyone knowing their roles and responsibilities."

Bromley face Brentford Under-21s in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday and League Two side Crawley Town in the same competition on 6 October, but do not play a League One game until a trip to Mansfield Town on 10 October.
