Crawley sign ex-Palace goalkeeper Izquierdo

Crawley Town have signed former Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jackson Izquierdo on a one-year contract, with an option of an extra year.

The 21-year-old made appearances for the Eagles' Under-21 side in the EFL Trophy but did not play for the first team and was released at the end of last season.

Crawley boss Colin Kazim-Richards told the club website:, external "He came in towards the start of pre-season and has done really well, and took to what we wanted to do straight away.

"He will be fighting for his position, which is exactly what we want, and I think he has a great future ahead of him."
