Peterborough United have signed goalkeeper Collin Andeng Ndi from National League side Southend United for an undisclosed fee.

The Italy-born 22-year-old has agreed a two-year contract, and becomes Posh's third summer signing, after deals for defender Evan Weir and Sunderland midfielder Harrison Jones.

Andeng Ndi saved two penalties in the 2026 FA Trophy final to help the Shrimpers secure their first silverware since the League One title trophy in 2005-2006.

He told Peterborough's website, external: "I really enjoyed my time at Southend. I played a lot of games in the first team and I feel it is the right time to make this move and it is one that I am excited about.

"The modern-day goalkeeper is obviously expected to be good with his feet and play out from the back, but it is vitally important that the major part of the role is not sacrificed - the job is to keep the ball out of the back of the net."

Andeng Ndi moved to England when he was 14 before joining Southend's academy, and went on to make 117 appearances in all competitions for the Essex side.

Manager Luke Williams added: "Collin will come in and really push Alex Bass. We have some real competition in that area of the pitch.

"They will help each other on the training pitch and it is great to have that little bit more experience with the amount of games that Collin has played."
