Flint appoint Holmes as new manager

Flint Town United have appointed former Connah's Quay Nomads and Tranmere Rovers defender Danny Holmes to replace Lee Fowler as manager.
Former Wales Under-21 midfielder Fowler parted company with the Cymru Premier strugglers after a winless start to the season.
Birkenhead-born Holmes also played for Newport County, AFC Fylde, York City, The New Saints, Bangor City and Colwyn Bay.
The 37-year-old was previously manager of Northern Premier League side Vauxhall Motors, where he spent two and a half years before departing at the end of last season.
