Watford have brought in Leicester City forward Stephy Mavididi and Strasbourg defender Soumaila Coulibaly on season-long loan deals.

Mavididi has scored 23 goals in 127 games for the Foxes and was a key player in their Championship-winning season in 2023-24.

But the 28-year-old has only featured once this season since their relegation into League One and he now heads to Vicarage Road.

Coulibaly, 22, was a youngster in the Paris St-Germain academy before a spell in Germany with Borussia Dortmund.

The Frenchman only joined Strasbourg last summer but spent a large part of the season with fellow Ligue 1 club Brest on loan.

Now he heads to the Championship to join a Hornets side currently 13th in the table after the 2-0 loss at Swansea City.

"I hope we will do something big this year," Coulibaly told, external the club's website.
