Cheltenham Town have signed goalkeeper Wyll Stanway from Barrow for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old spent two seasons with the Cumbrian club, making 65 appearances across all competitions.

Stanway, who previously featured at non-league level for Chester, leaves Barrow after they were relegated to the National League.

"Wyll brings another dimension to our goalkeeping department, he has some excellent qualities and is at a great age where we see an upward trajectory," Cheltenham boss Steve Cotterill told the club website., external
