Bradford City have signed Charlton Athletic defender Macaulay Gillesphey for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.

The 30-year-old made 96 league appearances for the Addicks and helped them win promotion to the Championship via the play-offs in 2025.

Gillesphey, who started his career with Newcastle, also won the League One title during his time with Plymouth.

"He is a very good defender with excellent ability in possession and his attributes will help us progress, and he was very determined to join us," boss Graham Alexander told the club website., external
