Stockport County have signed winger Ryan Glover from League Two side Barnet for an undisclosed fee.

Glover, 25, won the player-of-the-year award in both of his two seasons with the Bees, scoring 14 goals in 94 appearances.

He is Stockport's first signing since losing 4-1 to Bolton in the League One play-off final and then appointing Jimmy McNulty as manager on Friday, having agreed a three-year deal.

"He's a talented, versatile and dynamic player, who works extremely hard for his team on and off the ball," McNulty said.

Glover joined Barnet in 2024 from Aldershot Town, and his goals and assists helped the Bees win the National League title in his first season at the club.

He was also an ever-present during the 2025-26 campaign, as they finished eighth in League Two.

Barnet head coach Dean Brennan said: "It's of course disappointing to lose Ryan, but we understand why he wanted to go to the next level.

"Our supporters are going to miss him, I'm going to miss him, but that's football and we wish him well."
