Truro City have signed AFC Bournemouth's Max Kinsey on a permanent deal and Exeter City midfielder Tom Dean on loan.

Both players had spells on loan with the Tinners when they were in the National League last season.

Kinsey, 21, has signed a two-year contract after playing 14 league games for Truro last season.

Meanwhile, Dean, 20 will return to the National League South side on loan until January.

He comes in after Harry Kite left Truro to move back to Exeter on a free transfer on Thursday.

Dean made seven appearances for Truro on loan towards the end of last season as they were relegated from the National League.

Dean signed a new contract in April to tie him to the St James Park club until the summer of 2027.

"I am coming back to a place where I feel comfortable and I need to kick on and play men's games," said Kinsey.

"My career needs to kick on and hopefully I can get games in and experience. As a 21-year-old centre half, if I come here, help the lads, team and the club to get back where it wants to be, it is a win-win for everyone."
