Oxford United's away game against Peterborough United has been postponed because of international call-ups.

The League One fixture was scheduled to take place at London Road on Saturday 14 November but a new date will now to be found as a number of Aaron Ramsey's players were set to be unavailable for selection.

The U's were notified that at least three of their players will be called up by their countries in the upcoming November international break.

They had five players represent their countries in the September international break as defenders Ciaron Brown and Brodie Spencer plus midfielder Jamie McDonnell were called up by Northern Ireland

Forward Mark Harris played for Wales and midfielder Kai Andrews was named in the Wales Under-21 squad.

As a result, seventh-placed Oxford did not play either of their league fixtures across that break and still have two games in hand on many of their rivals in the League One table.
