Magpies draw final pre-season friendly against Strasbourg

The Magpies completed off their pre-season schedule with a 1-1 draw against Strasbourg at St. James' Park on Sunday.
William Osula gave the Magpies the lead against the Ligue 1 side but Gessime Yassine's second-half equaliser forced a penalty shoot-out which the visitors won.
Matthias Jaissle named a completely different starting XI than the side that lost 2-1 to Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, with first appearances for new signings Jaouen, Aladji Bamba and Bazoumana Toure.
