Lincoln City have signed forward Tanto Olaofe on a season-long loan deal, with an option to buy, from fellow Championship club Charlton Athletic.

Olaofe, 26, spent the second half of last season on loan at League One side Stockport County and came on as a substitute in the play-off final as the Hatters lost 4-1 to Bolton Wanderers.

He is Lincoln head coaches' Chris Cohen and Tom Shaw's fifth signing of the summer as they prepare for life in the second tier.

"We have said that we wanted to add pace, power and physicality to our group this summer, and Tanto ticks all those boxes, as well as experiencing the Championship," sporting director Jez George told Lincoln's website., external

"We didn't believe a loan would have been possible to another club in the Championship and subsequently this opportunity has only arisen in the past few days."
