Glamorgan Women made sure of a home semi-final in the One Day Cup after Abbey Freeborn hit a second successive hundred in their 195-run win over Worcestershire.

Freeborn (128) shared century stands with Lauren Parfitt (58) and Megan Sturge (50) as Glamorgan piled up 358-7 at Bromsgrove.

The Rapids could only manage 163 in reply, leg-spinner Nicole Reid taking 4-35 and off-spinner Gemma Porter 3-28.

Glamorgan have six wins from seven group games as they aim to add the League Two 50-over trophy to their success in the second-tier Blast before moving to the professional ranks next season.

Glamorgan chose to bat but quickly lost Daisy Jeanes, bowled by a ball from Amy Maund that cut back.

Parfitt and Warwickshire loanee Freeborn, the first of three loan players in the top order, quickly got going to put 60 on the scoreboard in the powerplay.

Both reached their half-centuries amid a volley of boundaries, Parfitt having 10 fours and a six by the time she top-edged Lucy Harris (2-57) to Gwen Davies after a stand of 118.

But there was no respite for the home bowlers as the third-wicket stand of 119 came even more quickly, Sturge crashing three sixes in her third successive 50.

She faced just 42 balls before she was bowled by Daisy Egerton, the seventh bowler used.

The well-travelled Freeborn, 29, went past her score of 124 against Northamptonshire in the previous outing, with 21 fours by the time seamer Egerton (2-47) got one through her defence.

Bethan Ellis (23), Bethan Gammon (30), and Eve Jackson (27 not out off 16) made sure the hosts would be chasing more than seven an over.

They had to go hard and paid the price with Jackson and Anna Mae Shearn picking up the openers' wickets, while Maddie Windeatt (29) was called for a questionable single and run out by Gemma Porter.

Reid had Amy Griffiths (19) and Megan Bishop (33) caught driving as she bowled her 10-over spell straight through to prevent any hope of a comeback.

Emily Churms made 28 and Maund was 18 not out when Porter finished the innings off with the last two wickets.

Glamorgan have three weekends off before they finish the group stage away to Middlesex on Sunday 6 September, with the semi-final seven days later.
