Guernsey beat the Isle of Man by seven wickets in the first game of their three-match series.
The games are part of Guernsey's preparations for this month's first round of qualifying for the 2028 T20 World Cup.
The islanders head to Cyprus for the Men's T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier A later this month.
Batting first Isle of Man were restricted to 110-8 from their 20 overs - Adam McAuley top scored with 39 as he and fellow opener Carl Hartmann (16) put on 53 for the first wicket.
Adam Martel took both their wickets - part of figures of 3-10 for the Guernsey bowler - as the Manx side struggled after their openers had gone.
Just three more players made low double figures as Charlie Forshaw took 2-17.
In reply Guernsey's batters impressed after sticky start - they were 24-2 after 5.1 overs before Tom Nightingale and Matt Stokes came together for a match-winning partnership.
The pair put on an 84-run stand for the third wicket before Stokes was caught for 40 with the score on 108.
Nightingale went on to make 45 not out off 38 balls as he saw the islanders home on 112-3 with 3.4 overs to spare.
The two sides are due to play two more T20 matches on Sunday.
