Ben Kellaway says his focus is on "impacting games" for Glamorgan after missing out on selection for England Lions.
All-rounder Kellaway hit 139 in the opening day of Glamorgan's County Championship game at Warwickshire.
Earlier in the day Kellaway had not been included in Lions' squad for two four-day matches against South Africa A later this month.
"It was a bit of a slight disappointment that maybe I wasn't involved," Kellaway told BBC Sport Wales.
"But at the same time, I've had a bit of a stop at the start of the season and maybe haven't had that game time fully under my belt.
"I'll just keep striving and keep pushing performances in for the team and then wherever that gets me, that's where it is.
"My priority at the minute is impacting games for us."
Kellaway – alongside Glamorgan team-mate Asa Tribe - toured Australia with the Young Lions during the winter after an outstanding 2025 season for the County.
But the 22-year-old missed a number of games for Glamorgan after he suffered a hip injury whilst fielding against Nottinghamshire in an early season game in April.
"Even from the pre-season, I felt that my game was in a really good place," Kellaway added.
"With that injury, it was frustrating at a frustrating time because as I said my game felt, in particular the batting, in a really good spot.
"I just made sure that I kept to my processes after having that little bit of time off.
"It's nice to be able to pick up where I started."
