Durham have given a two-year professional contract to promising pace bowler Luke Robinson.
Robinson, 22, made his first-class debut in County Championship Division Two, playing two games in May, and later featured in the T20 Blast and all but one of Durham's games in their run to the semi-finals of the One-Day Cup, taking 14 wickets in that competition.
The Sunderland-born right-armer now graduates from a rookie deal to a professional one, running until the end of the 2028 season.
"We have seen this year how much of an exciting prospect he is with the ball and his performances in the Metro Bank One Day Cup and the County Championship demonstrate this," said Durham director of cricket Ryan Campbell.
"He had an excellent 50-over campaign and we saw glimpses of what he can offer to the team with a red ball too, he has genuine pace which is exciting to see."
