Middlesex beat Glamorgan by 10 wickets

Middlesex Women finished top of the One Day Cup League Two table after thrashing second-place Glamorgan by 10 wickets in a one-sided final group game.

The visitors made sure of the bonus point to move ahead of Glamorgan as they raced to victory in just 15 overs.

The league's top two sides have secured home semi-finals.

Middlesex will host Northants while Glamorgan welcome Kent, who took third place on net run-rate, at Sophia Gardens on Sunday 13 September before the final seven days later in Bristol.

They will hope for a better return than against Middlesex when they were shot out for just 94 at Radlett, with Saskia Horley taking 4-27 while Bethan Gammon's 26 was the top score.

Artemis Downer hit 60 not out, and Riva Pindoria was unbeaten on 27.

Both teams had six wins and two defeats, but the speed of Middlesex's win ensured they overtook T20 Blast winners Glamorgan.

It it the second year in a row Glamorgan have finished runners-up in League Two and will follow Yorkshire into the professional Tier One next summer.
