Global forest loss slows

Outside Source

Available for 29 days

A new report shows destruction of the world's rainforests eased by more than a third last year from record losses in 2024. We speak to people living in rainforests around the world about the challenges they face and the solutions they have found. Two Jewish men have been stabbed in Golders Green in north London. The Metropolitan Police have formally declared it a terrorist incident. Our correspondent explains. And after Nepali mountaineers cleared a route past a huge chunk of ice on Mount Everest that has blocked climbers from moving up past Base Camp for two weeks, we speak to climbers and guides about how the rest of the season will be affected. Outside Source presenter: James Reynolds.
