The pause in fighting comes as Russia prepares to hold its annual Victory Day parade, commemorating the Soviet Union’s defeat of Nazi Germany. This year’s event will lack some of the usual military hardware, which is believed to be tied up in the war in Ukraine. Also on the programme: In Hungary new Prime Minister Péter Magyar is sworn in after his Tisza party’s landslide victory over Victor Orban in last month’s historic elections. And we look at the world of ‘kid-fluencing’ on social media. Joining Rebecca Kesby are Rachel Kyte, Special Representative on Climate for the British Government and a Professor of Climate Policy at the University of Oxford, and Mark MacKinnon, foreign correspondent for Canada’s Globe and Mail newspaper.
