Death toll from Nepal-Tibet flood jumps to at least 469

Newsday

Available for 29 days

There are warnings of more possible flooding in northern Nepal as rescuers search for survivors of a flash flood that has killed at least 469 people in the country. Roads are caked in mud in Trishuli, with some vehicles half-buried. There are fears of a secondary flood. We'll hear from a local politician about the impact on his district. We look at a tragic case in the US where a mother on trial for killing her three children awaits the court's decision on whether post partum psychosis played a part in the events and whether she is criminally responsible for her actions.
