Newsday

Available for 29 days

An Australian inquiry into an antisemitic mass shooting at Bondi Beach has recommended that the authorities should bolster security at Jewish events. Fifteen people were killed when two gunmen opened fire on a Hanukkah celebration on the beach in December. We speak to our correspondent about the findings. Meanwhile here in London, two Jewish men have been stabbed in Golders Green, in what has been declared a terrorist incident by police. Kenya’s Sabastion Sawe has returned home after becoming the first man to run a marathon in under two hours in competitive race conditions. He made history in London with his sports milestone, an incredible achievement that is being celebrated in Kenya and he’s expected to meet the president William Ruto today.
