King Charles hails longstanding ties between Britain and US

Newsday

Available for 29 days

At a White House state dinner King Charles has hailed the importance of alliances between the United Kingdom and the United States in a "contested world". In his toast President Trump called the ties with the UK a "friendship ulike any other" and said the King agrees with him that Iran must not have a nuclear weapon. The former FBI director James Comey has been charged over a social media post which the Trump administration asserts threatened the president's life. It marks the second attempt to indict James Comey within the space of a year. And we look at why the United Arab Emirates exiting OPEC, the organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, is a big deal. Presenters: James Copnall and Anne Soy.
